several years ago revolutionized pre-finished hardwood floors by creating the
most durable, stain-resistant hardwood floor finishes on the market. Not

Vineyard Collection is created using a unique staining process called Fuming.
Typically, most stains are applied as a liquid and color only the very top of
the wood. The fuming process uses a gas that actually penetrates the wood
fibers and colors the wood all the way through. This results in a beautiful
and subtle shading of colors within each plank that is unique to that plank
and is simply unavailable by any other process. Couple this with a modern 6
¼” wide plank profile and gentle distressing and you have a big winner.
