Kittle’s Flooring Company provides
a wide variety of commercial wood flooring services. In addition to repairing
existing floors and a full range of sanding services, we provide a wide
variety of commercial grade laminates and wood for new and replacement
installations.
Who Have We Worked
For
Through the years, Kittle’s Flooring Company has done work
for many well-known retail companies including The Gap, Banana Republic, Nike
Stores, Williams-Sonoma and many other local dance studios, gyms, medical
offices, restaurants and insurance companies.
Commercial Grade Wood
 Many commercial grade installations are frequently done
with Acrylic Impregnated wood. Acrylic Impregnated wood is often considered
the perfect wood floor for high traffic areas such as retail stores. It is particularly
resistant to abrasion and impact. Laboratory tests and field experience with
commercial installations have shown that Acrylic Impregnated wood outwears
epoxy terrazzo by a ratio of more than five to one! An Acrylic Impregnated
oak, for example, is ten times harder than a standard prefinished oak
floor.
 Re-staining is never
required with Acrylic Impregnated wood. Why? During the manufacturing process
a colored liquid acrylic is evenly forced into the porous structure of
selected hardwood and then permanently hardened. The resulting wood flooring
maintains the color, warmth and character of the original wood while creating
an extremely hard material throughout the entire structure of the plank.
 The impregnation process allows
these floors to be easily maintained and repaired. Keeping the floor clean
and lustrous is as easy as just dry mopping or sweeping. Spray on cleaners
can be used to remove superficial dirt, scratches and heel marks. The soft
luster comes through looking beautiful every time. Also, this same
impregnation process makes the wood extremely resistant to liquids. Should an
accidental spill ever occur, simply mopping up the liquid is all that needs
to be done.
Acrylic Impregnated wood is
available in standard planks. There are a variety of parquets and herringbone
patterns available as well.
Commercial Grade
Laminate
 In recent years realistic looking,
commercial grade laminates have become available. Kittle’s Flooring is
honored to be one of a select group of companies in our area to be an
authorized Wilsonart® Commercial Flooring Dealer. This remarkable product can
be used in a wide range of applications where other flooring products cannot.

Laminates have the advantage of being less expensive than Acrylic Impregnated
wood while still providing excellent wear characteristics. These laminates
are finished with a blend of Aluminum
Oxide and other premium finishes allowing for a 15 year commercial
warranty, the longest commercial laminate warranty of any first line manufacturer.
The super-hard Aluminum Oxide finish along with the laminate’s well-known
resistance to denting makes it an excellent, less expensive, but still
real-looking alternative for all commercial applications.
Installation
 Our installers are also our
employees and are fully licensed and insured. We install commercial floors
with the same care and precision we use in our residential installations. We
make sure we have a foreman on-site on each and every job-site to make sure
your floor is installed to our high standards. (Please see Great Details) Most retail and office-based
operations are open for business during the day. Rather than interfere with
daily operations, our installers will work through the night while the
business is closed.
