Styles of Wood
Many wood floors are
installed in one direction with a single size plank. This is the most
common and least expensive method of installing a wood floor. Many of our
customers choose this process and we are happy to accommodate them.
However, if you are
someone who is looking for that extra special something, wood comes in many
different lengths and thicknesses. The many different sizes of planks allow
for extensive creativity. By using different size planks and diverse
species and colors, many beautiful designs can be created. Working

Here are just a few
suggestions:
Strip: Usually 1
1/2" or 2 1/4" widths.
Plank: Usually 3", 4", 5", or 6" widths.
Parquet: Series of pieces of wood to create geometric design.
